Full details of the scan show that my sweetheart has a mass in the abdomen, and 'cysts' on the liver. As yet they don't know if it is recurrance of the seminoma he had 12 years ago, of a lymphoma from his cll.

So awful, he is so brave and deserves so much more than this.

i love mb, she has been an inspiration to me as her dh has had his illness hanging over them for so so long, and she has coped so well. she says she doesnt know how i do it, but i dont know how she does it either.

hope you get more new soon and how they are going to treat this one.

Yes, people are very fond of her - and we are all rooting for her and her DH now and over the coming weeks and months.

If I am anything to go by - I would think a lot of people are feeling floored by MBs news tonight

I have had so many emails this week (before this news) regarding the christmas thread, nominating MB, and I hope that once she gets a chance to catch her breath, she will allow us to send her a little token gift, to remind her of how much she is loved on here

MB,just to say,if it is a transformation to lymphoma from his cll there are new treatments such as Rituximab(mabthera) which is a monocolnal antibody,often used in conjunction with conventional chemotherapy,which has proven highly sucessful in achieving good remission from lymphoma.Know am probably jumping the gun but want to offer some hope whilst you are in this situation.Not on CAT facility,but if I can offer any support could try to get on it or send you e-mail address.Best wishes,Wrinklytum.
