It will be fine .

I had one 2 weeks ago for the first time in 6 years and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. In fact the worst thing was that ds2 (16 m) was screaming from the other side of the curtain because he couldn't see me.

buffythenappyslayer · 20/11/2006 13:32

ive told dh to go into work late so i dont have to take dd with me!!

im dreading it,i know it will be fine and i'll come out of there wondering why i was being so stupid!!its just the whole dropping your knickers and showing someone i know all my bits and pieces!!!(we live in a village and everyone knows everyone!!

Well done. Check how you get the results - I waited for weeks expecting a letter only to find the surgery had it for me to call in for and they only notify you direct of a problem.

corrina28 · 20/11/2006 13:36

i had my last one when ds2 was 10 weeks old he's now 2, and i didnt even feel it being done. Like you i was pooing my pants as my last one was really painful and i bled after, but had none of that this time. Was just a bit concerned when the nurse said to me, i can see you had a c section (OMG how can they tell)

buffythenappyslayer · 20/11/2006 13:42

OMG how could she see that?!!

i had a section with number 4 (ds) and normal with number 5 (dd)

but despite having 5 kids, and god knows how many strangers looking up my ninny,im still scared of going for a smear!!

the last one i had done i bled after and was really crampy aswell corrina,so i think thats maybe in the back of my mind aswell!!

i came out think WTF, but my sis in law who was a nurse said that they can easiely tell.

buffythenappyslayer · 22/11/2006 11:46

ive been!im not happy, but at least its over with for another 3 years!

the nurse was very nice, but also very rough.chatted away about her daughter who is in hosp expectin twins, and i dont think she realised how rough she was being!!

again,im now bleeding, and not just from my ninny!!i cut my finger on the door trying to make a quick gettaway!!i was v embarressed because she said "oooh, your cervix is well worn, but a lovely healthy colour!!"

so i made a mad dash to get out,and cut my finger open on the bolt on the door!!!

buffythenappyslayer thats awful, feel quite bad now the fact that i told you mine was fine. Is your cervix quite worn then?? LMAO

buffythenappyslayer · 22/11/2006 17:49

apparently so corrina!!!!!

ive had 5 kids so im hoping that thats the reason why!!and not from too much nookie!!!

ive stopped bleeding now,but i do feel abit crampy.

at least its over and done with now.

i asked how i get the results and she said that i'll get a letter in about 3 or 4 weeks time.
