i feel really sh*tty posting this when MB is having a tougher day

his VAD console is playing up. it isnt beeping when its meant to and is making a horrible whirling whistling noise. they are going to put him on his back up machine, and keep him in hospital as they dont have a spare ready atm.

its a minor problem, but still really sucks.

It is all relative, you have got used to having him around, lets be honest there was a time when we never thought we would see the day when he would be going back in. IYKWIM

clumsymum · 20/11/2006 12:43

Oh sorry misdee, I know it must feel horrid.

But at least it's because his machine has a prob, rather that a further prob with HIM, if you see what I mean.

misdee · 20/11/2006 13:36

i knoe sherlock, there was a time when i didnt believe he would ever come home. he has come on so well, and we have adapted to LVAD life, and life after stroke etc, and now one of fears of machine failure is coming true. at least this problem should be easily fixable.
