I had a whole load of blood tests recently under a hospital consultant, one of which was a bone profile to check my vitamin D levels. I've recently been severely deficient in vitamin D and have noticed all the symptoms returning.
The nurse in the hospital clinic called to say, my vitamin D levels are less than 5 and I need to see my GP.
The GP surgery's receptionist returned my call, saying the GP said my levels are normal. I've asked for an appointment for clarification, but GP is not available for some weeks.
