Maybe - many children get glue ear, which can be an on again, off again thing. It is worth getting checked out, even if just to rule it out.

thats what i thought. normally its dd2 who doesnt hear very well (she has had a hearing test recently and is fine) not dd1. and i have to keeo telling her to stop shouting.

Definately get it checked, I was convinced DS1 was just ignoring me (at about 2), turns out he has a serious loss and now wheres hearing aids and uses a radio aid in school. How old is she? Round here there is a routine check in year one at school.
