I've been told that exclusively breastfed babies require vitamin supplements, so I've bought my 10 day old some Abidec drops. But are they really necessary?

Hiya, ive been told from 6 months they do... mainly iron which you can give via their diet anyway. I nearly bought some, like you, very early on. As long as your eating a good and varied diet, wait until 6 months

Thank you. The advice is pretty conflicting. And the Abidec stains everything it touches fluroscent yellow so god knows what its doing to his insides
