Dh saw a consultant today, who thinks that the swelling in the stomach is fluid. He will not comit himeself to a cause. He wants dh admitted for a ct scan tomorrow, and possible teatment depending on what they find. He doesn't think it is the leukemia

I know enough to know there are lots of causes, and lots of them are bad.

MB - my thoughts are with you and your DH. I hope he is scanned tomorrow so that you can stop thinking the worst and concentrate on overcoming whatever they find. All good wishes heading your way..

Shit MB. I think, reading between the lines, that you have been worried for a little while - at leas tyou will have some answers now and be able to focus on the positive, rather than the nebulous.

Have the wine on chill for seeing you next summer....

THanks for all the kind thought. I 've been worried about this seriously for the last month or so.

We'll find out if he has a bed tomorrow morning, and I have taken the day off work, so I can go with him.

Ironically he is better today than he has been for quite a while.
