I've just had 2nd DS and need to get contraception sorted but as my blood pressure has been a bit iffy the dr has suggested one of the above but I don't know much about either of them, does anyone have any experiences good or bad?

I have had the implant for the past year, ny periods are a bit irregular, but its easy as it is the size of a hair pin and takes a few mins to put in, its the best option, i wouldnt dream of putting ne foreign objects in my LOVE BOX

I've now got my 2nd coil and so far it seems to be fine. My doc said there's no more chance of having ectopic pg than without it and infection is more common if you have more than one partner, so it's not suitable if that's the case. I like it because once it's in you can just forget about it and it stays in for years. I think my last one was in for about 7 years and it was fine. If it suits you it's brilliant and I prefer it to the hormonal option. Got enough of those already! I've got the bog standard coil.
