Is this sciatica?
I've had sciatica in the past but it didn't feel the same, I had shooting pain last time. This is more like an ache and numbness, even prickly. The front of my knee hurt yesterday but now it's the back, can't feel any lumps or anything. My thigh also feels odd.

I have been resting a lot lately due to GI issues so the bottom of my back has not been as active, sciatica/nerve compression would be an obvious cause. How do I alleviate it? It's knocking me sick! All my GI issues are on the right side too, oddly enough. Could it be referred pain?

Bumping as I can't get any relief. It couldn't be a DVT could it?

I'm not medically qualified but it does sound like a compressed nerve. Give your GP a ring in the morning.

Try to give your back some rest by doing this:

Thank you, will do.
Will try the Alexander technique now. It really does hurt. Like a pressure feeling.
