Yorkiegirl. Is DD2 ok? Are you ok? Sounds scary to me - do you know what caused it?

Sorry I can't be more help

Yorkiegirlso sorry to hear this. Have you tried steaming her (putting her in the bathroom with hot taps on full. Sounds like it might be croup to me. It'll either be steam or cold that'll work for her. If you've any honey in the house, put some in a cup, with hot water and some orange juice and water and let her sip it.. The honey will help soothe the cough and the vitamin C helps too.

Hi Yorkie. How's DD doing?

suedonim · 15/11/2006 11:35

How long has she been ill, YG? It could be asthma, croup or even Whooping Cough. Poor little thing - what does the dr say?

My DD1 gets blue lips when she is ill. She was very ill last christmas and in hospital and it was a case of low oxygen in her blood (amongst other things she had an undiscovered nasty chest infection) at but atm she has chicken pox and on day 1 and 2 had very blue lips. I've also noticed every time she has a temperature she gets blue lips when she is doing the dip and gets shivery. Hope she's better soon.
