Whatever happened to the pharamacist counting pills into little brown bottles?

I know it is all about hygiene etc.

but I've only just noticed you never get brown bottles - its all blister packs these days

I also get brown plastic bottles. It annoys me slightly as harder to transport then a strip from a blister pack. I think it can deppend on the mediation and the doses. Reall annoyed me when a pharmacist gave me 14 antibiotics in a massive bottle though.

I get brown bottles for some drugs. Normally ones where the prescribed amount is more our less than the quantity supplied from the manufacturer (eg a box contains 80 tabs, but prescribed 96).

I haven't seen a little brown bottle for years.

I'm clearly not aaking for the right drugs lol!
