I don't normally have biscuits in the house, but tommorrow I'm holding a coffee morning, so have purchased them for my (hopefully) guests. I'm really annoyed with myself as I'm supposed to be making a big effort to lose weight. Two weeks ago I set myself the goal of losing half a stone a month (about 5 to lose). Since then I've done hardly any exercise, eaten numerous takeaways, and now this whole packet of biscuits! Agghhhhhhhhhhh! Need some confidence and encouragement to lose the weight, and will power over the biscuits!

Ahh, been there and done that too!

Baked an enormous chocolate cake for a coffee morning a few years ago. It was December, and it snowed and our lane was so treacherous that I had to call everyone and cancel.

So... left in house with small baby and LARGE cake. It was inevitable, really.....

My only suggestion is that you get out for a walk, walk off a cookie or two and abstain tomorrow!

amymum, if they were Maryland or M&S they probably had your name written on them so don't worry about it. I can eat a whole packet too! Enjoy at the time and move on!!

I too have this problem with cookies but not any other biscuit, my solution, I dont buy them very often. Dont worry about it too much, I think we all go through this as soon as we decide to go on a diet. Bet they were lovely though

I've just eaten a whole Maltesers Easter egg I found hidden in the cupboard, and now I feel blukky and guilty (it was my toddlers but he won't miss it).
No will-power here I'm afraid

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! Made the big mistake this morning of going to Tesco to buy another packet, and only one person turned up to the coffee morning! Luckily it was a friend, but am very p*** off that no-one else came. Now have lots of cookies waiting to be eaten!
