chicken pox advice please !!!!!

Ds has had cp for 10 days and all but one spot is cabbed or gone. The final one is crusting, dry but not scabbed. Would you take him to
a) bestfriends daughters b'day party this afternoon
b) to see grandma
c) school tomorrow.

Answers gratefully appreciated!!!!!

He's long past the contagious stage. I would take him if he'd be likely to enjoy the various things. Presumably Grandma has already had CP?

Yes I would - but I'd check it was ok with friend/gran/school first. After my dd had cp & had spots crusting over we went to stay with family for christmas. Doc said there was no risk of others catching cp. Cousins had cp afterwards! - but luckly my sister in laws were happy about this as it was over & done with!!
