Periods

Hi. I'm a first time mum to 18 week old DS, have not yet had my period since birth - is it likely to be much longer??? don't think I could be preggers again but you never know!!!

Are you breastfeeding? Took a year for my periods to come back because of that.

I'm exclusively breast feeding my 11 week old ds2 and my periods have already returned. I mainly breast fed ds1 with formula night time top ups til 15 weeks, they returned a month after I finished feeding him.

I b/fed DS for 14 mths & had 1 period a months after stopping. But I have now missed 2. I changed back to my normal pill after being on the mini & am wondering if that change could have confused my body & thus no periods. Haven't done a test, but am getting worried now & am waiting for DP to come back from work trip before doing one. I haven't had any other symptoms I don't think.

From what I've read on different threads our bodies vary tremendously & there don't seem to be any patterns.

Thanks for that folks. I know that it can take a while to get back to normal, but just thought I'd ask.
