husband has ruptured achillies tendons....he's keeping me awake at night cos he is in pain....try to support his leg with pillows etc...is there anything i can buy to support it better...as when he is asleep he moves his leg off cushions...and he is meant to keep it raised....so i assume that is why it hurts more at night????

Can you get a big piece of foam rubber and cut a valley in it? Or is that a terrible idea?

that is kind of what i imagined!!!
I just wondered if i asked the local A&E/Physio outpatients if they'd have a rready made one!

They may well do. Or some kind of frame with a strap hanging down that he can rest his foot in to support it (am I making any sense at all?!).
