Pain/discomfort after eating?

I seem to be intolerant to different good groups, bread/ pasta, meat, amongst others. By cutting these out I have massively improved how I feel. Previously I felt sluggish, had stomach pain after eating and generally felt lethargic.

Every now and again, for no apparent reason, I have a recurrence of this where no matter what I eat I am uncomfortable. The only answer is to not eat, which results in headaches and lethargy- obvious i know.

Last week this happened again and I can't get rid of it. I'm also thirsty all the time. The doctor when I went previously says it was ibs but that doesn't seem quite right, it's definitely based in food choices. I just want to get mysel back to normal so I can continue eating my "safe" food and feeling ok.

Has anyone had anything similar? Or have any suggestions? I desperately need to feel better. The minute I mention stomach pain to the doctor they're writing a prescription for ibs meds.

Sorry about the rambling stream of consciousness, struggling to make it make sense while feeling like this.

A friend had similar symptoms - turns out it was his gall bladder. The clue was that it was fatty foods that caused him the pain (bile breaks down fat).
Could be worth asking ?

Thank you- that's worth knowing. I need to be a bit firmer at the doc's.

Thank you, went to see doc today. Bloods taken although he thinks it's diet related ibs. He's given me anti spasmodics for the short term but actually explained everything really well and seemed to make a lot of sense.
