Helping a cough...

I've got the cough from hell (nice barking one, if I was a child I'd think I had croup)... No honey in the house and DS is out cold so I can't go to a shop just yet.

Any suggestions to ease it? My chest is killing me

Aw Flamey - poor you. Make sure you drink lots of fluids - warm ones if poss. Do you have anything like Vicks vaporub that you could rub onto your chest? Might ease a little.
