Bunions in a 2 year old!

My son is 2.4 and looks as if he is sprouting bunions. I am very careful about getting his feet measured and his shoes properly fitted. His socks aren't too tight. What am I doing wrong? What shall I do?

I would take him to the doctors. Personally, at aged 2 I would think that is v young for bunions to appear, bearing in mind he has only probably been walking for not much more than a year and a half? I doubt his bones would be permanently affectde by shoes etc in that space of time.

the big toes are sloping and the big toe joint is raised. My mum has them badly so could there be a genetic link.
