My mum has been diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, gp told her not to google but she already had
It's very rare, only 3 in 100,000 people get it. She's now waiting for a hospital appointment for further tests to find out the cause which could be anything from the brain stopping making a certain hormone to a bleed on the brain or worst of all a pituitary tumor. We are obviously worried and scared.
I would love to hear from other people with the illness. I'd posted in chat the other day but got no replies.
