Boob pain and small scabs on nipples

One of my boobs has been twinging and sensitive (but not like just before a period sensitive), for about a week. No discharge, but the nipple is swelled and red and hot, and some of the ducts appear to be slightly scabbed over.
Never experienced anything like this before.
Not pregnant, mid 40s, mirena coil, with no problems & light, light hardly there periods.
I need to go to a Dr, don't I? Family history of breast cancer on mum's side.

Have recently been checked for similar.

With family history you should be referred for further investigation.

Make an appointment in the morning, best to check.
