what are the symptoms of these?

my dd has been in contact with children with both (2 sep children) and has gone to bed tonight at 4pm with no tea complaining of a stomach ache and a slight raised temp (38c) - shes not woken yet but wondering whether I need to worry and be phoning the childminder to cancel her day tomorrow.

Worms wouldn't give her a temp. Might give her a sore tummy though. And sorry, I don't know the symptoms of slap cheek, maybe someone else will though

Lexiemum, 2 of my children have had slapped cheek. TBH, they were completely symptomless with it, except for the red cheeks, but as it is viral, it would be normal to expect some sort of raised temperature. The tummy ache could also be part and parcel of the the general feeling of unwellness. My children often complain of a tummy ache when they have a temperature. If you dd is still young, she may even complain of a tummy ache when it is actually another part of her body that is hurting (eg throat). A docotr explained it to me once that young children are not good at identifying the source of their pain.
