Sickness and diarrhoea that just won't bigger off

I've been having the odd bout of sickness (mostly early hours of the morning, just sick once and not again until the next bout) and almost constant diarrhoea since about Christmas time.

I never normally feel ill or have pain with it, so I just assume it's something disagreeing with me and is fine once it's out. But about a month ago I had a bug (along with lots of other people I know & one that I live with) that lasted around 2 weeks. I was only sick 4 times in these 2 weeks, but diarrhoea and serious fatigue/dehydration for the whole time. Went to the doc, she said it just sounded like a bug that was a bit reluctant to go, but not worried.

She did a dipstick test in urine just to check kidneys and that came back absolutely fine. She gave me a pot to do a stool sample in case I'd had food poisoning.

Of course, I then felt fine and didn't have a great deal of diarrhoea and no sickness so didn't do the stool sample. (But kept the container)

Then last weekend I had the worst diarrhoea I've ever known, almost to the point of having an accident, so I decided to drop the stool sample in on Monday.

Then today I have just randomly been sick about an hour after lunch, but feel fine. Still got diarrhoea (of course)

Anyone else had anything similar? I'm assuming stool results won't be back for a week so haven't rung to check yet. People keep telling me I'm not normal etc etc and it's making me worry perhaps more than I would if I hadn't told anyone.

It is not normal at all. Something is going on with your health which needs investigating. It could be your gallbladder it could be acid reflux, both can make you sick at night. Please do take this seriously and get it looked at.

I was wondering about acid reflux, as I have always had trouble with not being able to burp, and indigestion as a result of that. (I must admit I don't know a great deal about it though)
