Mooncup virgin needs help!

I am the proud new owner of a mooncup and was very excited yesterday when it was required for the first time . All was going swimmingly until DS squeaked in the middle of the night. When I leapt up to see to him, there was a loud 'squelch' and um... a little leak .

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it normal? And is there anything I can do to avoid it (obviously not getting up would be the ideal solution but I can't see ds sleeping through anytime soon).

Was it full? It possibly just wasn't inserted quite right - it can take a while to get the knack!

It wasn't full Tatties - hardly anything in there at all really. It was just when I got up that there was a problem! You're probably right - maybe I just need to practice some more. It was fine during the day though. We'll see how we go tonight! Thanks for your help.

Had you made sure it had opened up inside you iyswim? ie you have to flatten and fold it to get it in, then it needs to ping open properly - I usually run my finger round the outside to check it has opened out. I haven't had any probs with mine since I've got used to it.

Hope you sort it out soon
