Impetigo - anyone?

My DD (2) and DS (3) both got impetigo recently which was cleared up with antibiotics. My DS then got a very nasty rash on her trunk and was diagnosed with shingles - though it is very rare in young children. My DS then got impetigo again all over his face which cleared up again with antibiotics. However, my DD has now got impetigo again! she is on antibiotic cream this time rather than liquid medicine. They are both at (different) nursery schools, but I am sick of them missing school and I hate giving them all these antibiotics. Their hygiene is very good, and we are regularly washing hands etc. Does any MNers out there have any advice on imetigo or alternative cures?

Great, thank you. I've googled graphites and hepar sulph and will pick both up from the chemist tonight. That was really useful advice.
