My dd dribbles so much - and although this is not a big problem I did think she would stop by this age. At first I put it down to teething - she started teething very early and would get two or three teeth through at a time. She often has a bit of a red patch on her chin as it is hard to keep wiping her chin 24/7. Any ideas? She seems to have all her teeth now - but the dribbling continues! I often have to change her top during the day as it get so wet. Someone suggested to me the other day that it could be related to diary products?

Hi janx

My son has the same problem - he had his teeth quite early and is now 20 months but I think he could be getting his back ones. The dribble is amazing and I took him to the Drs last week because I though he might have a throat infection but he does not.

I think for DS anyway it's teething because we don't give DS much dairy (only goats milk in the morning and night) but the amount of dribling is not related to the dairy levels - or does not seem to be.

My ds dribbled a lot when he was a toddler. He suddenly seemed to stop the summer he was 3. My nephew was the same.

Thanks for your replies - good to know my dd isn't the only big dribbler out there!
