My dd dribbles so much - and although this is not a big problem I did think she would stop by this age. At first I put it down to teething - she started teething very early and would get two or three teeth through at a time. She often has a bit of a red patch on her chin as it is hard to keep wiping her chin 24/7. Any ideas? She seems to have all her teeth now - but the dribbling continues! I often have to change her top during the day as it get so wet. Someone suggested to me the other day that it could be related to diary products?

We all produce lots of saliva - dribbling is just a failure to swallow it. There could be a number of causes - I certainly wouldn't worry about it if it's an ongoing thing - a sudden inability to swallow is dangerous, but persistent dribbling isn't. If you're concerned then just mention it to your hv and she will reassure you.
