I've got a badly inflmaed knee joint. Its painful and stiff and has been getting worse for about a week now. Struggled up to GP after 3 days of ibuprofen failed to make any difference.

GP's solution - go home, take ibuprofen and rest the leg - don't wlak on it for 3 days.

How in HELL'S NAME do they think you can do that with an 18mo? Forget fancy helplines or pretty bags with a couple of freebie books and pack of crayons in. Why can't every parent get childcare vouchers for use when they are ill or incapacitated?

poor you riab sounds awful.luckily for me i have a sympathetic gp. did they not think there could be more wrong with it!?

is there anyone can come round andlook after your lo or take him/her out, help with housework.
