Pain in shoulder (co-sleeping "injury")

My right shoulder is really painful. It's been on and off for a few months now but it's been more on than off lately, with periods of pain closer together. It aches generally right indie, and becomes more painful moving it in certain ways.

I think it is because I have co-slept for the last 4 years on and off (not all night, but the dc do come into our bed at some point and I've always kept my arm round them so they don't bash their head on the bedside table or fall out) Ironically, this has been much better lately Hmm

I can cope with the actual pain but I'm due dc3 in August and worry about it getting worse and me not being able to lift baby/bf etc. Or aggravating it if we do a bit more co-sleeping.

Not sure what (if anything) GP can do (plus it'd be a couple of weeks for an appointment) and all googling relates to sports injuries-which this definitely isn't Grin But I don't really know what it is.

Does anybody have any experience? Know what could help?!

Have you tried ibuprofen gel or some deep heat?.
Does the trick for mine, gp may offer physiotherapy depending on what they think is the cause.
