Hi yesterday I had to agree to a blood transfusion due to my bloods being too low. 10 hours later my nose is suddenly streaming with mucous. Like hay fever or something. I don't suffer hay fever but assume this is what it is.
Has the transfusion caused this or is this coincidence? Sorry if I sound clueless but I am :-(

Thanks in advance

You should ask someone at the hospital. Did they give you any advice on who to call if you have any problems afterwards?

It might just be coincidence, but they're best-placed to comment.

ring the hospital asap.
could be an allergic reaction.

Thanks I just spoke to the nurse and they don't seem too concerned. They have given me pyriton so hopefully this will help.
