has anyone used one? my ear has been clogged all week from a cold and it's very annoying! or should i just leave it.

Also think its a crock. DH once bought some (he's an old hippy at heart) and they did precisely nothing - except tickle his ears.

well i don't think i'll be finding a thermal auricular therapist in the near future .

I swear by ear candles - they are fab and bring oodles of wax out really gently !

Main hazard is setting my hair on fire when DIYing !

TAT is very relaxing and therapeutic. Like anything you have to go to a fully qualified therapist though. It helps to regulate the pressure between the inner and outer ear, the heat helps to soften wax, it coats your ear canal with sage and helps to moisturise the skin in the ear canal (good for people with dry/itchy ears). I think it's a fab treatment and would defo recommend giving it a try.
