Bloody in urine but no infection, should I be worried?

Wiped after a wee the other morning and had a small amount of red blood which I assumed came out after the wee. It's not my period. Took a sample to the docs and they have sent it off as it has blood in it but no sign of infection. I've convinced myself it's the big c. I have always had a trace of blood and protein so that's normal but they didn't say a trace to time.
Any help please?

It could still be an infection as some doesn't show in the dipstick test. Unlikely to be the big C. I have blood (microscopic) in my urine always due to an ongoing condition. The fact that you are now going to the toilet more could mean it is infection. Try and drink plenty of water to flush anything bad out and just wait for your results.

Some of the results are back and say no infection but still waiting for the one that grows stuff.
