Melanoma Information and Charity Walk

One of my colleagues has got Melanoma, which has unfortunately gone to stage 4. As a team the rest of us have decided to do a charity walk for 'Melanoma UK' who have helped our colleague immensely. He is so brave, as is his family. He is working so hard to keep family life as good as possible. His wish was to take his family to Disney World, but he is too poorly for that, so we are going to get him tickets to Disney on Ice.

The walk is taking place this weekend. 3 teams of 5 people will be walking 160 miles in total. Each team will carry 80kg between them, which is his weight - to show that our teamwork is so strong, that we will carry each other to the bitter end if necessary. The walk is starting at 2200hrs on Fri 17 Apr, and keeping going through until around 1400hrs on Sunday. During the day we will be walking around Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottingham. We will have tents at the Nature Reserve Cafe, including the Melanoma UK tent, which will be giving out information.

If anyone is free, please come over to support us. If you are wanting to find out more about Melanoma, or have questions then definitely pay us a visit. We will be walking round with charity buckets on the day, but if you would like to donate, please go on to the justgiving page
