help! itchy bits

have been on penicillin, just finished the course and have incredible itchy fanny - it's driving me nuts.... getting worse as the day goes on.
what can I do to relieve the itching? will a salt bath helP?

i think antibiotics can give you an thrush- ie itchy fanjo

natural yoghurt applied to the bits can help i believe...never had thrush though! sounds awful !

and you can get stuff from the chemist...canesten

100% sure you have thrush deffo. You can buy loads of stuff over counter to get rid of it. Go for a tablet rather than creams or pessary. If you can't get to chemist tonight, natural yoghurt is meant to help although it never helped me. As I said am toyally sure, it's the antibiotics that trigger it.

Yep, good advice from everyone - in future if ever on antibiotics, always take two tablespoons of live natural yoghurt with every dose of medicine. This might prevent the thrush. good luck and sorry for laughing at Lulu's use of itchy fanjo, still sniggering like child here..........
