Final stages of dental implant - what to expect?

That's it really - had the implant itself six months ago, now going back for the crown. What do they do from here? And what kind of aftercare (if any) is there?

After the crown part is put on the peg, then the implant is finished isn't it? I have five implants and I also had a bone graft and sinus lift. I have toothpaste on prescription from my dentist for sensitivity and he recommended a Waterpick ( from Boots) to clean between the rest of my teeth, to maintain my dental health. This is very important!
If you have gum disease then you may not be suitable for any implants.

If I get sore gums he gives me a mouthwash on prescription.
I have a checkup every six months. Done!
