8 month old dd has developed a dry tickly cough.
Started this pm and continues into evening.
She is being wakened by it, grumps for a bit, then goes back to sleep. She doesn't have temp, it's not a chesty cough.
Does anyone have advice on how best to alleviate symptoms?
Obviously if it doesn't improve I'll take her to GP, just wondered if anyone has any tips.
Any advice would be appreciated

not really anything you can give to an under-one for a cough

try lifting her head a bit (put a pillow under the mattress) otherwise there's not much you can do IME

Feel for you - I remember DS1 being like this at a similar age and being up all night with him. Took him to the gp in the morning and he was as happy as larry.....

dd already has end of bed elevated slightly.
she seems to have settled now(touch wood)
Thank you for replying!
