DD is 7 months and is a bit unwell. Think she's a bit coldy maybe but not happy to say the least. She had 5ml of calpol around 6 tonight and I'm thinking a spoon of medised may help her settle but don't know if she can have it with calpol?

NO! It has paracetamol in it, doesn't it? Definitely not, sorry.

misdee · 01/11/2006 20:27

nope, not till 10pm.

lucykate · 01/11/2006 20:28

i think no, as both have paracetamol in them, you can mix calpol or medised with ibuprofen as its a different type of painkiller if that helps

At 10 pm she can have some medised. Yes it contains paracetamol.

If you have any childrens nurophen that is ok to give in between medised doses.

Hope LO feels better soon

Right, that's what I thought - couldn't remember which were the two that could go together so had to double check

Thanks.

(Bugger - knew I should have given her medised!! )

its ibuprofen that you can "double up" on. If you have some karvol or vicks you could use that instead of medised until the next dose is due !

Do you have any Nurofen? That would be fine.
