How long do i leave it with DD only taking water????

She is 10mths old and hasnt been well all weekend but symptoms keep changing. Took her to gp on monday who said no milk/formula for 48hrs but keep giving solids. We have been doing this but she threw up last night and now wont eat anything. She is drinking cooled boiled water but thats it. I know she is just clearing her system out but how long do I leave her just on the water???

nemo she wont starve, i'm sure the gp would say not to worry about her as long as she is taking fluids then she will remain hydrated.

thanks longwaytogo...I think if it was DS I wouldnt be worried but DD always seems to be sick in one way or other so tend to worry more.

nemo i know the feeling my last two have always been on the small side. Always plodding along the bottom of the graph but they are what they are and will all get there in the end.

How is she now anyway?
