weird throat burps, no acid or pain

Recently I've been getting the physical sensation (and sound) of burps in my throat, with a tight lump in the throat that makes it hard to swallow. There's no pain, no acid or feeling of acid movement from the stomach - it's all in the throat.

Does anyone know what this might be or what causes it? Looked online but it all refers to acid reflux and I have no heartburn symptoms.

you can experience " silent reflux " . Sounds odd though ,maybe something is irritating your throat ? Personally I'd advise having it checked .

worth checking out. sounds like silent reflux but left untreated that can have serious consequences (i dont mean i am worried it is serious now!!).
