GP asked if it was painful, I am not sure if it is, or just uncomofrtable, some mornigns it feels more painful and it could be the skin being painful as i keep touching.
so he put me on antibiotics due to infection.
but i have had it since january. surely somethign would have materialised by now?
also fractured same shoulder in february so it has been hard/impossible to examine lump until recently. but it is same size i am sure

You know you won't relax until you've been back to your GP.

Go back, the GP won't mind.
I've got a lump in the area of bottom armpit but a bit over towards my breast - I had a scan done and it's a cyst.
Even if it's a swollen lymph node they'll still need to check it if it's not going away.

i saw a locum who i have had a bad experience of anyway, and it is the day before the bank holiday weekend and i feel fobbed off with antibiotics

on the other hand, you gotta trust these doctors dont you.

i was so upset i didnt question it. and i should have gone before but it couldnt be accessed til now.
i will give antibiotics and chance and if they dont work - which they wont imo - will go and see a more sympathetic doctor.

I've got a small lump in each armpit and they've been there for 20 years! Don't know what they are. A couple of times I've had an infection in one of them. I think they are lymph nodes.

Hi I had a lump in my left armpit about 15 yrs ago. Didn't go over about 6 weeks so I was referred to hospital, had it taken out under GA and lovely surgeon came in to tell me there was 'nothing horrible' there - just a swollen lymph node. Go back to see your GP!
