Its rare.....

He is 17 and its a long shot but I wondered if anyone had anything to offer? Anyone with experience?

He is currently suffering renal failure and has blood in his lungs.

At the bottom of the information is a link to a site by a patient with the disease (though it affects her lungs only), and she has further links on there to more info.
