Another mirena coil question.....

...I was told to expect spotting and irregular bleeding for the first 6 months when bleeding could either become very light or stop altogther. Well since having a mirena coil fitted at the beginning of September I have had NO bleeding whatsoever! Should I do a pregnancy test? Has anyone else ever stopped bleeding straight away?

Thought I would reply since you were kind enough to reply to mine!! Can't remember the first few months, I don't usually get a period just some discharge once a month. The other month I didn't get anything and got paranoid that I was preggers and did a test which was negative (thank the lord!). If I were you I would probably test for my own peace of mind. My sister says she never gets a period (also has it fitted).
