Hi All. I'm suffering terribly at the minute with lightheadedness and feeling woozy all the time. A bit like when a lift comes to a halt. Had such a chilling day today yet still I'm soooooo light headed. I do suffer anxiety but this is horrendous and is mAking me panic more. Can anyone offer any advice, hubby has taken eldest to footy and I can't stop crying xxxx

It can be a sign of labyrinthitis or other inner ear issue.See the doctor asap Flowers

I get dizzy when I am anxious. But it could also be an infection. Check it out with the doctor.

Fibromyalgia?

Dizzyness and anxiety are two secondary symptoms although poor sleep, constant pain and exhaustion are the three dominant ones.

I have it and fell off a step ladder and fell over on the stairs last week.

Poor you :(

Yes, it can be a symptom of anxiety. But it can also be caused by hay fever, anaemia, infections, viruses.... Best to see the GP I think. Hope you feel better soon.

I can sympathise - I started with similar symptoms in January. Turned out to be vestibular neuritis. I'm on meds & daily exercises to retrain my balance. See your doc to try & get it sorted. Good luck.

Could also be something very simple like low potassium. I feel dizzy, anxious and disconnected when I miss my daily banana. Confused Confused

hi i suffer with anxiety, and do sometimes get lightheaded if i am not breathing properly. Yet I have also had labrynthitis a few times and strange colds that come to nothing over the past few months, which i have 'thought' were anxiety type problems.

Could be that?

Labyrinthitis, has leak, low blood pressure, low iron

Lack of sleep

i have dizziness caused by anxiety, everything else ruled out first including brain/inner ear scans.
i have been watched (unknowingly by a consultant) once in hospital, and he said "i dont breathe properly"
so im unaware im doing it, and he thought meditation/yoga might help training my self to breathe properly.
i ve had it daily for about 16 years ,its horrible and very restricting.

Hi all. Had MRI scan which was normal thankfully. Have got a weird pressure in my nose but no congestion. Anxiety is an awful thing, just want it to leave! Xxx
