Who wants a cheap MOONCUP?

DrFrankenZooey · 30/10/2006 12:24

Right, as promised, through my Suma collective I can get Mooncups at wholesale prices, and send them out to you for ?15.28. This includes 1st class postage.

If you want one, you need to email me on frannyandzooey at india dot com and I will send you details of how to pay me. I will only be accepting bank transfers this time - no cheques or Paypal. This is because Paypal charge me to receive your money, and I am not risking bouncing cheques, sorry. The money needs to be in my account by Tuesday 14th November to receive a Mooncup this month, so you will need to transfer it by Tuesday 7th November to be sure of it getting to me (5 working days and all that). You can make bank transfers via your online banking service, by telephone banking, or in person at your bank.

Any money received after 14th November will be refunded, or kept for the following month's order (your choice).

Mooncups will be sent out wrapped in plain brown parcel paper by 1st class post, on Monday 20th November or before, so should be with you by Wed 22nd November at the latest.

Any questions please ask, or email me.

shall bump this for you, as have finally gotten to use mine, after stopping BF 6 weeks ago, my period finally turned up, BIG thumbs up for mooncups!

NotQuiteCockney · 31/10/2006 21:40

I'm happy with mine. It's more comfortable than tampons, imo (which I didn't expect). Both less bulky, and it feels less like it's shredding bits of me at times (well not at all like it's shredding me).

I've only been using mine for a cycle or two, but still, I'm very happy with it.

IvortheEngine · 31/10/2006 22:29

I've e-mailed you FandZ. Had one eye on the tv but hopefully it makes sense.

laundrylover · 31/10/2006 22:40

Ooh Friz, your periods came back so quickly?? My Mooncup is waiting in the cabinet so will be buzzing you for hints and tips when the time comes!!

I got mine on 3 for 2 at Boots and so converted my sis and my friend too.

PandaG · 31/10/2006 22:56

Bumping for you fandz, I love mine, so comfy and easy, and so great to feel environmentally sound!

StFillydiaofJonkton · 01/11/2006 19:09

StFrancesofZooville · 01/11/2006 21:47

Am trying to email everyone who has got in touch

Keep pestering me if you don't hear anything, I have just overlooked you or something, it is nothing personal

northender · 01/11/2006 21:57

Another testimonial here! I survived the Great North Run with mine, far better than all the disposable rubbish. The sound effects do bother me if in a public loo though schluuuuurrrp!

Imafairy · 02/11/2006 13:15

Right - a question: if you're in a public loo, and you need to empty your Mooncup, do you just empty it down the loo and give it a wipe with loo paper, or do you have to sneak out, rinse it under the tap, and sneak back in again, all the time hoping no one comes in to see you with your knickers around your ankles???!!!!

northender · 02/11/2006 14:56

I wipe it out with loo paper, give it a rinse as soon as I can! The info with them suggests carrying a little bottle of water for exactly the public loo situation.

FillyjonkTheFireEater · 02/11/2006 15:24

I must say I would be inclined to sterilise or similar between uses

tss and all

FrannyonFire · 02/11/2006 21:58

Do you mean each time you empty it, Filly? Or between cycles?

The manufacturers recommend cleaning it 4 times in every 24 hours. I think it is fine to just empty and wipe it in a public toilet, as long as you clean it when you get to a more private one.

northender · 02/11/2006 22:45

I think tss has more to do with the unnatural nature(if that makes sense!) of tampons and how they work.

FrannyonFire · 07/11/2006 08:55

Bump - you would need to transfer the money tomorrow or Thursday I think to be sure of it getting to me (it seems to be taking about 4 or 5 days)

I am out for the day but will respond to any emails later and give you full instructions then

FrannyonFire · 07/11/2006 20:20

Bump for evening people
