the receptionist at our surgery is an absolute withc. Just phoned her as 10mth old DD was very severly constipated yesterday but now has horrendous diahorria[sp?]. DD is screaming in agony even when she is just weeing so phoned for aqn appointment as was told wednesday is earliest one. So I said think she needs to be seen sooner are there any sit and wait. Told only if its an emergency...well in my opinion 10mth old with quite bad bowel/urine probs constitues emergency. So I ask can we sit n wait told to come for 10.45am but it best be an emergency as we will be wasting their time?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????/ WTF I now know why I tend to take mine straight to walk in or the bloody hospital as the receptionist clearly thinks seeing the GP is a privelege not what we are entitled to
