Apologies if I have misspelled it, I've been experiencing nausea, constipation, pain under my rib cage right hand side and pain in my back as if someone is stabbing me through my shoulder blades. I had several bad attacks for 3 months after ds was born and nothing since. The pain was something else, had to go to a&e where I was.given tramadol. This is painful but mild in comparison. I've made an appt with my Dr but that won't be for two weeks! I'm on propanolol/citralopram for anxiety/depression and I'm worried about what pain relief I can take. I haven't been taking anything but it's painful and when it comes on it's constant. What were your experiences with biliiary colic and what happened next?

Forgot to add, ds is now 2 and the attacks started when he was about 6 months old.

For me it was just a case of waiting for the pain to pass as luckily it wasn't constant. In the end I was taken to A & E with pancreatitis and had my gallbladder removed shortly afterwards.

I hope you get some help soon as it's miserable Thanks
