So after staggering a long road to diagnosis, I've finally been diagnosed with endometriosis on my stomach muscle, just next to my belly button.
Numerous scans have shown that it's nowhere else, just this 4x3x2cm lump. Apparently it's pretty rare and the location of it means open surgery is the only option to get rid.
Has anyone else had this or similar? Please tell me your positive stories cos With a 12 week wait for surgery I desperately need to know there's some light at the end of the tunnel...
