Hi there, I haven't posted on this site for a few years but am feeling really fed up today so could do with some hand holding. I'm aware that I'm completely pathetic but bottom problems are my absolute dreaded nightmare due to a couple of events from childhood.

So anyway, I found a lump on my anus in October. I panicked but eventually accepted it was a pile. Itchy, annoying, not really painful. Put anusol on it sporadically and eventually after 8 weeks it went away (or at least I didn't notice anymore for a period of 3-4 weeks). Then about 5 weeks ago it was back. Had a nervous tummy one day (not totally unusual for me) and had a second BM on one day- I think I was probably trying to clear myself out tmi. And maybe this strained something I don't know. Anyway, this lump, well really it seems to be a flap of skin is back and I'm not coping with it at all. I'm depressed and not getting enough done as the more I stand up the worse it is, argh.

Went to the GP a few weeks ago, a locum who said a minor hemmie. I couldn't tolerate an internal exam so she just looked from outside. But it's really not going away and althoigh very small is effecting my walking, I'm walking around very stiff with my buttocks pulled together and it's probably effecting my back tbh! Plus looking thoroughly weird.

Can anyone help me? I hate walking around like this, it's not going away. Oh, Im trying proctodsedyl suppositories atm. A big step that i actually managed to get them in as I hate the feeling!!! BUt I'd have to be crazily drugged for any further investigations/ treatment. :((
