Sorry for this but my dd only has around 3 wees during the day but her nighttime nappy is usually quite heavy. Today she has not been so far since 8.00am (it' now 3.30pm). She has been known to hold it for about 6 hours or so some days but i'm getting a little concerned now. She hasn't got a fever and is drinking although on the whole she's not a big drinker and i am trying to get her to drink a bit more. Any comment would be appreciated,

my dd was toilet trained at 2.5
She could go with only a coupe of wees in the day and one before bed.
She has an immense bladder control and she drinks quite a lot of water during the day.

I have a 2yo who might go for that long sometimes. In fact she has been known to go from 7 pm to 10 or 11 am. She is a stubborn little so and so who will only go when she decides. Sits on toilet with arms folded if physically manhandled onto it. Or alternatively goes stiff and flails about so you can't get her on. I think that sometimes once children are toilet trained they have stronger bladders than their mothers.

My dd is 4 now but will go once in the morning (when I make her), once before bed... and when I make her during the day.. She never has an accident... it worries me.

thanks. Feeling a bit better about it now. Likewise my dd is quite adamant that she doesn't need to a do a wee, again will probably do one when she's good and ready. Just out of interest how much does anyones' dc drink during the day. I would say she averages about a 1/2 tp 3/4 litre of water and 9 oz of milk at bedtime.

mascaraohara - i feel the same. My dd only tends to go if i put her on. Very few accidents and won't ask to go but will usually go when i put her on (apart from today!)
