DD is now 2 and has trashed countless toothbrushes! I asked the dentist and she said I should try and brush dd's teeth (some hope!). Dd chews the brushes and eats the toothpaste but she is beginning to actually brush her teeth. The toothpaste is designed to be eaten, and I try to encourage her to brush by making noises and demonstrating. It's not nice having a mouthful of froth, so it's not surprising our LOs don't like brushing! If you can, you could use a bit of toothpaste on your finger.
