What's this pain in my boob?

I think it hurt for a day about three weeks ago, then yesterday it started again,

It's a random stabby sort of pain, upper left quadrant of my right breast, with the occasional shooting pain towards my nipple.

Occasionally there's a weird cold 'menthol-y' type of feeling inside it.

No lumps, swelling, heat, rash or anything.

Any ideas what it might be?

Also, have had a mirena coil for four years and am on hrt - don't really have periods so don't think it can be cyclical?

Bumping - any advice or experience of similar?

Had the exact same thing happen to me a few times and thought nothing of it, just some random pain get through life! Then this post, I too have had the mirena coil fitted about 6 weeks now, could be related? Who knows, would love to hear if anyone else has had this?

I also have exactly the same as you describe but feel both blobs tender but mostly my right. Have had this pain before for around a year on and off. But this week they are rather tender and sore. I still have periods and am not pregnant.
